Back To School!

Back To school! Moms to battle! Time to get ready for backpacks and chaos, when the fall jackets come off the hooks and never seem to find their way back and closets start looking like war zones. OR are you sick of tripping over shoes and sliding on sweaters? Make a school year resolution to get organized!

Start with pegs! An empty wall by the door is the perfect place to put pegs! The more the better! Hang coats, backpacks, umbrellas, purses, hats, anything and everything! Hanging hooks and pegs will keep everything on the wall and not the floor! Hang things lower if you have younger kids.

Shoe storage! Ever heard this? "Mom! Where's my other shoe?!" Then gone to look for it and seen a sea of laces and flip flops? Turn a book case into a shoe holder! position shelves closer together and voila! You can also use other unique items like a garden tool holder, an old vanity with the drawers taken out, etc.

Baskets and buckets! Hide all the extras in small tin pails or little baskets! Pencils, pens, glasses, keys, home work and permission slips, can all be organized to make finding everything you and the kids need easy as 123!
