Look outside! God has repainted the leaves and transformed the trees into a masterpiece called Autumn! I love fall simply for it's beautiful colors- warm browns, reds, and yellows- that give your home a warm cottage feel and make you want to curl up by the fire and read a book.
One of the beat ways to capture fall is by pressing one of its trade marks- Leaves! Most of us have pressed leaves before, simply picking them off the ground and sticking them in the pages of an old book. But what do you do with them after that? Here are some elegant and fun ways to easily incorporate fall into your home!
1) Refresh your desk! All you need for these unique decorations is some hand picked leaves, clear paperweights (found at craft stores), and some fabric and fabric glue!  First gather some pretty fallen leaves from your back yard, then press them in a book. Once they are dried, stick them to some fabric with fabric glue and assemble them in the paper weight according to directions. Viola! a touch of fall in the office!

2) Plate update! Instead of plain glass plates on Thanksgiving dinner, try a new look! Get the kids involved, and go out hunting for beautifully colored leaves! (probably 4-5 per plate) then arrange the leaves on each plate, varying the design for each. Then carefully place a glass plate of the same size on top.

3) Light up the season! Gather fallen leaves of all shapes and sizes from a park or your yard, then gather pillar candles and arrange them on a tray. Painting a thin layer of craft glue on each leaf, press them onto the candles in various patterns and designs. These make beautiful centerpieces or gifts!
