I love laundry!  I love folding warm clothes fresh from the dryer.  I pray for my family as I do their laundry and putt clothes away.  My secret to loving laundry is........only doing one load per day or maybe two loads on a busy day.  Doing quality laundry takes time and a single load from start to finish takes me about an hour & a half . Here is my process....follow these steps and you will start loving laundry too!
1. Gather all stray laundry from various hampers and bring to the laundry room.
2. Seperate towels. Towels should all be white for easy keeping/bleaching and stored in a  vented laundry basket when damp and dirty.  We use towels twice before washing.  Towels waiting to be washed are kept in an open-air basket in the laundry room.
3. Next, I shake out each piece of laundry, look for stains or spots.  Sniff, sniff...if it smells good and looks clean I lightly spritz the item with laundry freshener and fold it back up for redelivery.  If its stained, potted or smelly I treat it and add it to the wash pile.  I can usually empty half my basket into the " return-to- sender" pile after just a quick spritz!
4 After I finishing sorting  a each piece of laundry I wash my biggest pile for that day.  If it's towels, I wash towels.  If it's daily darks I wash darks.  If I have a back-up in the laundry room I will do two loads (not often).
Remember....If it's not dirty then don't wash it!  This will save you loads of time, saves water and energy and also saves the garment too.  The more you wash something, the faster it's going to wear out!
Other important tips; use just a tad of soap in your laundry, hang-dry delicates and dry-flat all sweaters, make your own fabric softener with your own custom scent and always complete your load!  Wash, hang-dry what you can and for the items you dry in your dryer; take them out when they are still warm to fold and hang them quickly to avoid wrinkles.
