Spring is still a few months away...but now is the time for seed-starts. Start seeds now that have a long germination period. Soak seeds overnight and use egg cartons or seed trays to start preparing "now" for your summer garden.
A little hard work now will save you bundles of money come summer when your anxious to plant window boxes, pots and boarders:). Each year I start more and more seeds inside. Not only do I love having a wide variety of plants for my garden....the little shoots of life that spring up give me "hope" that Spring will arrive! My kids love to wait and watch for the seeds to take root and push trough the soil!
Please post your favorite seed starts and your favorite on-line supplies of seeds.

I LOVE these seed packets because they are non-GMO, often heirloom, and they are so PRETTY! They make me happy even just laying around before I get to planting them.
I love Territorial Seed Co. Just started all of my lettuce seeds yesterday!
ReplyDeleteDayna! You are sooo creative! LOVE LOVE LOVE the eggshell idea! I'm still doing babies... pregnant with my fourth! Praise the Lord... :-) But I think we could do a little of this!
