keep "little ones" busy!

One of my favorite gifts for young moms is a custom "busy box" created specifically for little busy people!
The perfect shower gift or special "hang in there" gift.  I created my first "busy box" for my Stephanie to use while I was nursing Annie.  As many of us know all to well......when your busy nursing your new baby it's the opportune time for older siblings to become restless or to get into trouble.  I would pull our Stephanie's "busy box" only during times I was nursing (keeping it special).  I filled it with stickers, crayons, stationary, measuring tape, little flashlights, sticky notes and fun odds-and-ends.

As my children grew older I made busy boxes I could pull out when I was needing to make an important phone call and needed 10 minutes of quiet.

Fun to use a metal box and add magnetic containers for do-dads.
